It is ironic how many of us shunt aside our deeper values - go for a shallow view of success - and expect to end up happy. How can anyone be happy when their deepest values are not expressed?
What I really like about this book is that it breaks away from the usual hyped-up view of success where it is only about more, better, best. Robert Holden offers a sane and compelling view of success which allows the deeper parts of ourselves to participate. He helps us discover our deeper purpose and how to express this in productive, meaningful and enjoyable ways. He shows that it is from our deepest self that we can experiences the most fun and the most success.
Success Intelligence is an eminently practical book. It takes a balanced view of handling our own deepest needs for fulfillment while also being able to best serve the organisation we work for. That is probably why Robert gets invited to deliver his material to a wide rage of organisations from large corporations to theatre companies.
Robert Holden is himself a brilliant example of the principles he teaches as he goes from strength to strength and from success to more success.
